This website was created for the educators who love what they do… but are exhausted.
It’s for the teachers, paraprofessionals, aides, specialists, and school staff who show up every day for their students — even when the job is harder than anyone outside the building truly understands.
I’m the founder of this space. I’ve worked in childcare for over 20 years and currently serve as a special education paraprofessional in an Emotional Behavior Disorder classroom. For the past four years, I’ve supported students with significant behavioral needs — and like many in this field, I’ve experienced the realities that rarely make it into public conversations.
I have been bitten, punched, kicked, bruised, concussed — twice. I’ve been yelled at and cussed at more times than I can count. And I still show up.
Not because it’s easy.
Not because it’s safe.
But because the students deserve support — and the adults supporting them deserve support too.
This website was built to create a space where educators can speak honestly about what’s happening in their classrooms. A place to vent without judgment. To share experiences. To ask questions. To discuss policies, burnout, safety concerns, classroom management challenges, administrative issues, and the realities of working in today’s school systems.
This is not a space to shame students. It’s not a space to attack families. And it’s not about negativity.
It’s about truth.
It’s about connection.
It’s about not feeling alone.
Too many educators suffer in silence, worried that speaking openly could cost them their jobs or their reputations. Here, we acknowledge the hard parts — because pretending they don’t exist helps no one.
If you’ve ever driven home in silence after a long day…
If you’ve ever questioned whether you can keep doing this work…
If you’ve ever felt unsupported, unheard, or burned out…
If you’ve ever not been able to make any decisions by 2:00 p.m…
You belong here.
Welcome to a community built by someone who understands — and for those who need to be understood.
